We stayed here for one night on labor day weekend and really enjoyed our experience! The host was very friendly and graciously accommodated us at the last minute.
Great place to stay. Food was awesome. I had no car so can't really go to a restaurant, Duker was kind enough to make me dinner. It was delicious.
We had a great weekend visit. We were very comfortable in this cozy B&B. Breakfast and the thoughtful service were a particular highlight. We found everything we needed. Our room (a suite really) was quite spacious, and featured a separate bedroom, living room and kitchen. The decor is simple, but perfect for us. The Inn is also notably a very clean place. We would love to come back soon.
We were recently hosted by Duker at the Inn at Charlotte. Originally we had rented a house via Air BnB and it did not work out, so we called the Inn on VERY short notice (within an hour of needing a room). Duker was extremely welcoming and accommodating, especially taking into consideration we were traveling with two dogs! The Inn is in a quiet area, but very accessible to Burlington, Shelburne, Middlebury. There are two wineries within minutes, 20 minutes to downtown Burlington, and 15 minutes to the Shelburne Museum, VT Teddy Bear Factory, and tons of restaurants. Our room was charming and kept warm with an amazing pellet stove. We enjoyed fresh eggs for breakfast from Duker's own chickens, and LOVED the jam Duker's wife makes! We look forward to staying again and highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Lovely gardens and a cozy hammock and lounge area. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. The owner has decorated the place with his own paintings and sculptures. He was happy to prepare a delicious breakfast and carry a good conversation.
The inn has a really charming and homey atmosphere. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious, made from fresh cut herbs picked the same morning. Could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend to everyone.
